Regis A. Ely

I am a Professor of Economics at the Federal University of Pelotas, where I teach basic statistics and finance to undergraduate students, and time series and macroeconomics to graduate students. My main research focus is on the intersection between financial markets and public policy, including the use of statistics, econometrics, time series and machine learning to measure the effects of regulatory interventions and develop forecasting models.
