Regis A. Ely

Associate Professor of Economics at the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel) and permanent faculty in the Graduate Program in Organizations and Markets (PPGOM). PhD in Economics from the University of Brasília, with two postdoctoral degrees from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV-SP and FGV-DF). I have worked in applied economics for over 15 years, published more than 40 peer-reviewed articles and coordinated technical projects for public and private institutions, building forecasting frameworks, designing evaluation methods and developing data visualization platforms, with the goal of turning econometrics and economic theory into inputs for institutional decision-making.
